Potomac is an unincorporated place, so there is no Potomac clerk, court, or recorder. The Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk keeps deeds, marriage records, and court files. Maryland agencies run property, license, business, and voter systems. Montgomery History and the state archives hold older sources. We organize those separate routes and explain when an online index, office request, telephone call, or archival visit is the useful next step.
